Correctional Institution Physician Exposures

We are pleased to announce availability of our Correctional Institution Physician Program with an A++ rated carrier.  This program is designed to provide professional liability coverage for groups of physicians that are employed by a public entity or correctional institution-staffing firm.  Coverage is restricted to correctional institution physician activity and does not contemplate any private practice exposures.  Limits are provided on an each-and-every named physician basis.  The entity can optionally be named as an additional insured on the policy.

For part-time practitioners, our Special Risk Physician Program eligibility guidelines have been expanded to allow consideration for non-surgical physicians that engage in correctional institution professional services up to 50% of their total practice.  Previously, we allowed a maximum of 10% exposure.  Like all accounts in this program, each submission will be considered and rated on individual merits.
